The ITG conference room is a long room, comfortably appointed. The design schema of the room has been created with an eye towards the average cultural paradigm. For example, interior colors are restful for the majority of occular types. The lighting is reflected rather than direct, and can be raised or lowered depending on the visual capabilities or needs of the room's occupants. The carpet is thick and comfortable underfoot, with slight sound-deadening capabilities, and the chairs are designed for those that are approximately 4 to 7 feet in height, with an upright bipedal stance and possibly a tail or wings. However, for all that the law of averages has been observed, there are small, subtle grace notes which reveal that a variety of species' physical capabilities and comforts have been considered and integrated into the room's decor. A long, matte-black table extends almost the full length of the room, with comfortable chairs currently neatly arranged down both the table's sides and ends. While there is no attempt to draw attention to the fact, the table is kept as technologically up-to-date as possible. One can, with the touch of a finger, cause personal terminals to rise for use, or project a 3-dimensional holo-field hovering over the table's center, as well as other useful abilities that are not immediately noticeable. The decor is pleasantly understated, with an eye to ergonomics for all species. Neatly tucked away, for example, are a few seats for individuals that are above average height or length, that they might also comfortably seat themselves at the table should they so desire... and if one examines the table closely, a small elevator of approximately 6" in height can be spotted in one table leg. It is for our more... diminutive allies, as we have discovered height is no true indicator of either heart or valor. On the end of the room opposite where you entered is a full wall holo-screen for use during meetings. At the other end of the room from the holo-screen is a small dispenser for food and drink, with a wide variety of options available. Although ITG does not wish long and tedious meetings on anyone, we also see no need to be uncomfortable or hungry while doing so. =) The length of one entire wall is given over to what appears to be a window, which looks out upon space. Ships arriving and departing from Dreamstar Station can be seen silently drifting by at all times of night or day here. |
If you wish to speak with the Guildmaster, Loki, he might be in the inner room... just tap on the door frame of the door marked Office. He keeps it always open when she is there, with just a decorative beaded curtain between he and this room. Collien, the former guildmistress and a valued advisor, can also occasionally be found within, although she seems to prefer the bridge of her new ship, the "Star's Child." | |
You wish to return to the Lobby? But of course. Through that door there. |
